The new Lakin Foundation Child Development Center of Atlantic, with an expected completion date of fall 2026, will house up to 300 children and address the childcare desert in the Nishna Valley area of Iowa. Quality childcare is an essential need of any community, and we recognize that access to reliable childcare is crucial for our community’s growth and prosperity, allowing families to thrive and businesses to attract and retain talent.
This facility will be situated near 18th Street and Olive Street, adjacent to the new Camblin Hills Housing Development.
